This kit has everything you need to make a perfect summer sausage. This tastes like the Bologna kit except it does not have the peppery after effect that the Bologna does (The bologna is an excellent kit in and of itself, by the way). It is not overpowering with any ingredient, but gives you a nice well rounded tasty product that should appeal to a lot of folks who like this kind of meat. I have made many pounds of summer sausage from kits and recipes and this one stands above all the others. You cant go wrong here.

Perfect kit for the beginner or seasoned pro. Would give it five stars if it had a little more kick to it but it is really good stuff so four stars it is!
I have not yet used the summer sausage kits I ordered, BUT, took the time to find you online and order them, BECAUSE, I had gotten some at a local grocer and like this particular flavor best. I look forward to using the kits I ordered soon, with the venison I processed and froze in early December. Do not know why the local grocers did not stock the summer sausage kits this season - we like ALL your spice varieties, but SS is our favorite!

I found this product at a Meat Processing company about 10 years ago and have been using it ever since. Easy to use and has a great taste. My friends are even asking me to make their bologna for them now.
