This is the best seasoning for jerky I have used I marinate under a vacuum and it is always a hit would recommend to anyone
We only make jerky from the hind quarters. (All else is ground up for hot sticks). De-bone both the hind quarters; chill for 2 hours in the freezer then slice it with the grain 1/4" thick on a meat slicer. Cut into slices then marinate overnight. I space them out on a thin stainless steel rods and smoke them using the directions on the package... This is the absolute best jerky you'll ever have... Hands down!
I also have tried many different brands of jerky mix and this is one the best. Priced reasonable and shipped fast to my home. It is worth a try!
I thought it was very good, except it could be a bit bolder. Maybe adding a bit more pepper flakes with an addition of a sweetener (brown sugar or molasses perhaps).
Some of the best jerky I've ever made. Would highly recommend this seasoning.
I use this product often for vension, chicken jerky. Always great results. But what I have been making lately is salmon jerky with the Hillbilly mix. Out of this world!
Been experimenting with jerky mix for a very long time and your seasoning is very good.
My only hang up is I do not like to use msg or sodium nitrites in any of my foods.
I want to purchase again and tell others about the product but I can not endorse with the presence of these ingredients in your product.
Have you tried experimenting without msg and sodium nitrite? Have you tried to find a healthier alternative? I really think you could blow the top off of your product line if you could resolve this. Maybe you do not see it as a problem.
