Hillbilly Jerky Kit

Jerky came out great. I have used this flavor before and really like it. Spicy but not too hot.

Taste was great but I would like a little more spices to it so the next time I make it I will add some extra stuff to it I only made 5 lb 4 lb was Venison and 1 lb was bacon. Next time I'll probably make a bigger batch spent more time cleaning the grinder and mixer. I smoked mine on a wood pellet grill on low smoke and Heat for 3 hours and then an hour at high smoke which was around 180 degrees everybody loved it. I will definitely buy more product to have on hand.

This is by far the best jerky mix I've found. You can use it as is comes packaged, or sometimes I'll spice it up with some chipotle. I have yet to find anyone that doesn't like my jerky. Thanks for producing a great product.

Best me and my friends have had, never use anything else again

finally found where I can by this. Bought it a couple years ago in a super market. Should have bought more but was unsure about flavor. Wouldn't you know when thy sold all that was available it was never restocked. I know were to get it now. look forward to buying more and also different flavors.

This is one jerky flavor you have to try! Almost all my friends loved the new hillbilly I introduced to them a couple years ago. This product is win.

I have been making beef jerky for 20 years. My friend told me to look up Con Yeager Spice Company on the web. I finally got an opportunity to order some of the Hill billy seasoning. WOW. I made 4 lbs of beef jerky and in 2 days it was gone. This spice is fantastic. A blend of sweet with a touch of heat. I wasn't sure about adding all of the sugar cure that the package called for. I only added 1/4 teaspoon per pound of meat. Would like to know if you all follow the instructions on the package. If it tasted that good without all the sugar cure. I wonder what it would have tasted like if I added all the cure. Any comments are welcome.

I also ordered some hickory and mesquite but haven't had the chance to make more yet.

The Hill Billy Jerky kit is easy to use. Directions are clear. The taste is phenomenal! Not too spicy, yet spicy enough that it's not just dried meat! This is the only Jerky Kit that my husband and I use.
