Sausage, Pork With Sage

Use one package per 25 pounds of meat. Our Country style sausage seasoning with a touch of sage. Your homemade sausage will be great for breakfast, in sausage gravy or in your favorite recipe. Ingredients: Salt, Dextrose, Monosodium Glutamate, Flavorings (including sage), BHA 0.10%, BHT 0.10%, Citric Acid 0.10%, may contain up to 2% silicon dioxide to prevent caking.

    little too salty....little too "sagey"

    Mixed this with 12.5lbs venison and 12.5pbs pork (50/50). I think it's a little too salty and has a little too much sage flavor. I would either cut back on the amount you add to 25 lbs or add more meat (30lbs). If you like sage you will like this. Conyaeger proces are generally great.

    I added 5 lbs more pork and some red pepper. Just right.
