Very nice. Solid maple flavor without being too sweet. The blueberries offer a touch of flavor- not overwhelming. It’s like you took a bite of blueberry pancake and a bite of a maple link at same time. Not a gimmick. I ordered a bunch more after trying one pack last year.

This product lists as for fresh sausage, however I have changed it up a bit by stuffing it into sausage casings, using turkey 93/7 lean, adding powdered milk for a binder and wild blueberry preserves to the water for mixing and then smoking it. It comes out fantastic. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the fact that I add the additional preserves to get it to the sweetness that I want. Highly recommend this product
It came out very good. I used ground turkey instead of pork. After reading some of the reviews I added 2 Tablespoons of Blueberry Preserves to the water mixture and it came out great. Very good Maple taste and not ultra sweet.

Was looking for a good breakfast sausage seasoning to mix with venison. The taste and quality turned out much better than i expected coming from venison. like other reviews the blueberry flavor was not really noticeable, but still turned out great. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a sweeter style breakfast sausage!
