I've had a lot of butcher shop venison snack sticks and none compare to these. Great flavor. I mixed 8lbs of venison with 2lbs of fatty pork butt, followed the oven cooking instructions. They turned out excellent. Great flavor and texture. I bit slow stuffing the small casing, I used a jerky shooter with a round end. Worked well, just slow going.
I was tired of trial and error with manufacturers seasons meat kits because there seem to be more bad tasting ones than good ones. I used these per a friends recommendation. He is very picky and recently stopped making his own spices because he said this was delicious and easy to pick up at Rural King.
I was tickled how well mine turned out and how good they taste. I made them out of 50% venison and 50% pork loin. My kids and I absolutely love them. Making these will be an annual event in the house, and I don’t have to waste any more time and money making cured meat that nobody wants to eat.
I followed the directions on the pack and my deer sticks came out phenomenal! Big hit among my friends and family. I will definitely be buying more in the near future!
I've used it twice now and it is awesome. Would recommend it to anyone. I made a batch on Friday it calls for 2 cups cold water I used 1 cup water and one cup Teriyaki sauce. It is delicious. Thank you Con Yeager for your great product customer for life.
