Have been a long time buyer of this rub... Especially like it on pork butts/pulled pork
First the good, the spice. Every time I get spices from Con Yeager they are always top notch. I buy a lot of spice whether for cooking or processing deer and you won't find it fresher. The bad, I do not like the new bottle tops. The old ones were twist and allowed you to choose from 1 of 3 sizes of holes depending on how much spice you wanted. The new ones are a flip top. The top is cumbersome and doesn't function well. When you have the top open the flip top lid gets in the way of using the container. Please go back to the old style! This is the reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
I put this on any chicken pork or beef we cook, it's great on a steak on the grill this and a little hickory smoked salt is all you need. Great mix!
Salt base... Spice kick... I use on pork butts, ribs, wings, pastrami...
My only wish - that it was sold in larger bulk quantities to retail customers... The small containers don't go very far...
