Bologna, Dutch Country Sweet

Use one package per 25 pounds of meat. This is a sweet bologna seasoning in the tradition of Pennsylvania's south central counties. Ingredients: Sugar, Salt, Spices, Natural Maple Flavoring, Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Garlic, may contain up to 2% silicon dioxide to prevent caking.Please note: This product requires the use of a curing agent like our Tinted Cure #813 found in the Venison Seasonings section.     Fantastic Bologna!

    Ive used con yeager spices for years and they are the best. I have never been a sweet bologna fan, but wanted to change it up a little bit. My gosh was I pleased, best bologna I have ever tasted, everybody I let try it said the same thing.

    I have tried different recipes in the past but I honestly have to say this is the best recipe so far. I ordered it an with in about a week I had this recipe on my door step. I made a batch using venison and pork and everyone I have let try it said it was some of the best Deer Bologna they ever had. I highly recommend this product.

    Gritty, not sweet, no resemblance to Lebanon Sweet Bologna

    The gritty texture could be my fault as I used a cup of soy protein. But flavor wise this tasted nothing like sweet bologna. It tasted more like store bought bologna. I will have to modify the recipe for subsequent batches as I only used enough seasonings for 5 lbs.

    This is the first time for trying this flavor and all of our family really enjoyed this taste. We use it with venison and it is better than the sweet lebanon bologna we usually make. I believe this has now become our number one flavor

    I add brown sugar, Molasses, and honey to this, plus ECA. The guys in the shop where I work can't get enough of it, and many say it's the best they ever had. My boss sold his company and is retiring so I gave him a roll of this and I swear he almost cried.

    I bought this mix to make some venison bologna. I enjoy sweet lebonon bologna so I decided to try this. I followed the smoking schedule that is printed in Conyeager's book and everything turned out perfect. Some reviews I have read say that this mix isn't sweet, but I have no idea why they would say that because it definately is. Very good!

    This is not a bad seasoning, but it is not as sweet as the bologna I had growing up in York PA. It is a good start, but you need to add a lot of brown sugar and molasses to get the sweetness of south central PA bologna.
